UniMás Outperforms CBS and FOX for Fourth Consecutive Saturday Night Among Adults 18-34
UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of June 1, 2020 to June 7, 2020
- On Saturday night, UniMás outperformed CBS (+3% adv.) and FOX (+46% adv.) for the fourth consecutive Saturday among Adults 18-34 with a primetime movie line-up that included (“Cineplex: Knockaround Guys” and CineNight: Starsky & Hutch”). UniMás also out-delivered FOX (+36% adv.) by double-digit margins among Adults 18-49 for the entire night, marking the fourth consecutive Saturday night that UniMás has out-delivered FOX among this demographic. The movie line-up also increased the network’s 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. time period by double-digits year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+51% to 441,000), Adults 18-49 (+54% to 205,000) and Adults 18-34 (+39% to 71,000).
- On Sunday night, UniMás out-delivered The CW by double to triple-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+38% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+233% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+204% adv.) with a movie line-up that included (“Cineplex: The Taking of Pelham 123” and “CineMás: XXX: State of the Union”). This also marked the 26th consecutive Sunday that UniMás has out-delivered The CW among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
- UniMás averaged 400,000 Total Viewers 2+, 194,000 Adults 18-49 and 62,000 Adults 18-34 during primetime for the entire week. UniMás also out-delivered The CW for the entire week by double-digits during primetime among Adults 18-49 (+34% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+41% adv.), marking the 20th and 25th consecutive week that it has outperformed The CW with Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, respectively.
- UniMás’ weeknight 8 p.m. novela series, “Qué Culpa Tiene Fatmagül” increased the network’s Monday to Friday 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. time period by double-digit margins year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+45% to 496,000), Adults 18-49 (+43% to 232,000) and Adults 18-34 (+28% to 82,000). UniMás also outperformed The CW by double-digit margins for the second consecutive week among Adults 18-49 (+27% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+44% adv.) in the 8 p.m. hour.
- UniMás’ weeknight 9 p.m. adventure reality competition series, “Reto 4 Elementos: Naturaleza Extrema” delivered audience growth to the network’s Monday to Friday 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. time slot week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+9% to 351,000) and Adults 18-49 (+4% to 166,000).
- UniMás outperformed the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime by double to triple-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+99% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+234% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+210% adv.) for the entire week.
