UniMás Delivers Year-Over-Year Primetime Audience Growth For Thirteenth Consecutive Week Across All Key Demos
UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of January 13, 2020 to January 19, 2020
- Driven by the 8:00 p.m. airing of “Enamorándonos,” UniMás outperformed CBS (+7% adv.) and The CW (+123% adv.) on Monday night with Adults 18-34.
- UniMás achieved double-digit year-over-year audience growth during primetime among Total Viewers 2+ (+73% to 556,000), Adults 18-49 (+93% to 264,000) and Adults 18-34 (+70% to 109,000), marking the thirteenth consecutive week of audience growth.
- UniMás delivered week-over-week audience growth during Monday through Friday primetime among Total Viewers 2+ (+8% to 548,000) for the third consecutive week.
- In the current 2019/2020 season, UniMás is averaging double-digit audience growth versus comparable dates in the previous season among Total Viewers 2+ (+31% to 459,000), Adults 18-49 (+35% to 219,000) and Adults 18-34 (+27% to 93,000).
- UniMás’ “Enamorándonos” averaged its highest-rated weekly performance since its premiere with double-digit week-to-week audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+10% to 660,000).
- Enamorándonos outperformed Telemundo by double-digit margins in the 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period on Thursday night among Adults 18-49 (+21% adv.; 369,000 vs. 306,000) and Adults 18-34 (+16% adv.; 173,000 vs. 149,000).
- The reality series drew in more Adults 18-34 than first-run episodes of ABC’s “Stumptown,” Fresh Off the Boat” and “Emergence;” NBC’s “Perfect Harmony;” and The CW’s “Supergirl,” “Batwoman,” “Legacies,” “Charmed,” “Nancy Drew” and “Dynasty.”
- UniMás’ weeknight late prime program, “Esta Historia Me Suena” increased its audience week-to-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+8% to 157,000).
- On Saturday night, UniMás’ movie line-up including, “Cineplex: Date Night” and “Cinenight: Snow White and the Huntsman;” out-delivered Telemundo for the entire night among Adults 18-34 (+3% adv.).
- Marking the sixth consecutive Sunday, UniMás outperformed The CW for the entire night with double-digit audience advantages among Adults 18-34 (+18% adv.) and Adults 18-49 (+8% adv.) with a movie line-up that included “Cineplex: The Last Stand” and “CineMás: The Last Witch Hunter”.
- UniMás attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+101% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+161% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+221% adv.) than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime.
