MIAMI – September 9, 2025 – Premios Juventud announced today that the 22nd annual awards show will open with a powerful tribute to Panama and its sounds. The opening number will be a musical journey through the country’s most iconic rhythms and genres, celebrating Panama’s rich culture, diverse genres, and traditions. The performance will feature a selection of renowned songs, including “Ellos Benia Dem Bow,” “La Murga,” “Señorita a mí me gusta su style,” and unforgettable surprises delivered by an all-star lineup of artists, including Boza, Farruko, Los Rabanes, Nando Boom, Natti Natasha, Samy & Sandra Sandoval, Sech, and Willie Colón. The annual awards show will air live on Thursday, September 25, from Panama City on Univision, UNIMÁS, Galavisión, ViX, and TeleMetro in Panama.
- Panamanian urban star Bozareturns to Premios Juventud as part of the opening tribute to his home country and will also perform a medley of his hits, including “Ella,” “Hecha Pa’ Mi,” “Orion,” and “Yaya.” This year, he has two nominations.
- Iconic Panamanian group Los Rabanes will make their Premios Juventud debut performing their unforgettable hit “Señorita a mí me gusta su style.” Los Rabanes is one of the most influential bands in the Panamanian music scene, known for their fusion of rock, ska, and reggae.
- In an unforgettable surprise, Farruko will deliver a performance as a tribute to the sounds of Panama. He will also perform a medley of songs from his new album, 167BPM, a collaboration with Louis BPM, for the first time on television.
- Panamanian reggae pioneer Nando Boomwill make his debut with his iconic track, “Ellos Benia Dem Bow” alongside Natti Natasha. This song, which laid the foundation for reggaeton, was crucial for producers and established Nando Boom as a key figure in the genre’s evolution.
- Dominican superstar Natti Natashareturns as part of the opening tribute and will also deliver the global premiere of her new song, accompanied by an emotional gender reveal. The five-time Premios Juventud winner has four nominations this year.
- Siblings from Monagrillo, Herrera, and the most influential duo in Panamanian music, Samy & Sandra Sandoval, will make their Premios Juventud debut as part of the opening tribute to Panama. Known worldwide as “The Patrons of Cumbia,” they have helped this traditional genre cross borders and become a cultural export.
- Panamanian reggaeton artist Sechreturns to the Premios Juventud stage as part of the opening tribute to Panama and will also perform his new dancehall single, “Novio No,” for the first time on television. The two-time Premios Juventud winner has two nominations this year.
- One of the creators of what we know today as salsa, Willie Colón, the trombone giant and Fania All-Stars pioneer will perform legendary hit “La Murga.”
For the first time, Premios Juventud will be held during Hispanic Heritage Month, celebrating the vibrant culture and talent of Latin America from one of its most dynamic cities, Panama. Hosted by Alejandra Espinoza, Nadia Ferreira, and Clarissa Molina, the hottest night of the year will also feature performances by Alemán, Bad Gyal, Camilo, Carlos Vives, Emilia, Esaú Ortiz, Farruko, Fonseca, Grupo Firme, Grupo Niche, Lola Indigo, Louis BPM, Maluma, Morat, Myke Towers, Sergio George, Silvestre Dangond, Xavi, and Yami Safdie, among others to be announced at a later date.

MIAMI – 9 de septiembre de 2025 – Premios Juventud anunció hoy que el show de la 22.ª entrega anual de los premios se abrirá con un poderoso homenaje a Panamá y sus sonidos. El número de apertura será un recorrido musical por los ritmos y géneros más icónicos del país, celebrando la rica cultura, los diversos géneros y las tradiciones de Panamá. La presentación contará con una selección de canciones de renombre, que incluyen “Ellos Benia Dem Bow”, “La Murga”, “Señorita a mí me gusta su style”, e inolvidables sorpresas de la mano de un elenco de estrellas, que incluye a Boza, Farruko, Los Rabanes, Nando Boom, Natti Natasha, Samy & Sandra Sandoval, Sech y Willie Colón. La entrega anual de los premios se transmitirá en vivo el jueves, 25 de septiembre, desde Ciudad de Panamá por Univision, UNIMÁS, Galavisión, ViX y TeleMetro en Panamá.
- La estrella panameña de música urbana Boza regresa a Premios Juventud como parte del tributo inaugural a su país natal y también interpretará un popurrí de sus éxitos, incluyendo “Ella”, “Hecha pa’ mí”, “Orion” y “Yaya”. Este año, tiene dos nominaciones.
- El icónico grupo panameño Los Rabanes hará su debut en Premios Juventud interpretando su inolvidable éxito “Señorita a mí me gusta su style”. Los Rabanes son una de las bandas más influyentes de la escena musical panameña, conocidos por su fusión de rock, ska y reggae.
- En una inolvidable sorpresa, Farruko ofrecerá una presentación como tributo a los sonidos de Panamá. También interpretará por primera vez en televisión un popurrí de canciones de su nuevo álbum, 167BPM, una colaboración con Louis BPM.
- El pionero del reggae panameño Nando Boom hará su debut con su icónico tema, “Ellos Benia Dem Bow” junto a Natti Natasha. Esta canción, que sentó las bases del reguetón, fue crucial para los productores y estableció a Nando Boom como una figura clave en la evolución del género.
- La superestrella dominicana Natti Natasha regresa como parte del tributo de apertura y también estrenará a nivel mundial su nueva canción, acompañada de una emotiva revelación del género de su bebé. La cinco veces ganadora de Premios Juventud tiene cuatro nominaciones este año.
- Los hermanos de Monagrillo, Herrera, y el dúo más influyente de la música panameña, Samy & Sandra Sandoval, harán su debut en Premios Juventud como parte del tributo de apertura a Panamá. Conocidos mundialmente como “Los patrones de la Cumbia”, han ayudado a este género tradicional a traspasar fronteras y convertirse en una exportación cultural.
- El artista panameño de reguetón Sech regresa al escenario de Premios Juventud como parte del tributo de apertura a Panamá y también interpretará su nuevo sencillo de dancehall, “Novio no”, por primera vez en televisión. El dos veces ganador de Premios Juventud tiene dos nominaciones este año.
- Uno de los creadores de lo que hoy conocemos como salsa, Willie Colón, el gigante del trombón y pionero de la Fania All-Stars, interpretará el legendario éxito “La Murga”.
Por primera vez, Premios Juventud se celebrará durante el Mes de la Herencia Hispana, festejando la vibrante cultura y el talento de América Latina desde una de sus ciudades más dinámicas, Panamá.
