MIAMI – APRIL 10, 2023 – TelevisaUnivision-today announced new strategic appointments to the International Content Licensing team to further strengthen and consolidate the company’s position as the leading Spanish-language global distributor. The appointments, which are all effective immediately, include:
- Karina Etchison, appointed as Sr. Director for EMEA and Asia. In this role, Etchison will lead Televisa’s content licensing and VIX originals for Europe, Middle East, Asia, and Africa for all platforms.
- Claudia Silva, promoted to Sr. Director Content Licensing for the Americas. In this role, Silva will oversee content licensing efforts, both for Televisa content and VIX Originals for all platforms across the region.
- Mariano Filippini, promoted to VP, Global Content Licensing Operations and Strategy. In this role, Filippini will oversee all content licensing operations and sales support functions to optimize and improve revenue results.

TelevisaUnivision nombra nuevo equipo para expandir el negocio de licencias de contenido internacional de la empresa
MIAMI – 10 DE ABRIL DE 2023 – TelevisaUnivision anunció hoy nuevos nombramientos estratégicos en el equipo de Licencias de Contenido Internacional para fortalecer y consolidar aún más la posición de la compañía como la distribuidora de contenido global líder en español. Los nombramientos, todos efectivos de inmediato, incluyen a:
- Karina Etchison, fue nombrada Sr. Director para EMEA y Asia. En este puesto, Etchison dirigirá las licencias de contenidos de Televisa y VIX Originals para Europa, Oriente Medio, Asia y África en todas las plataformas.
- Claudia Silva, fue promovida a Sr. Director Content Licensing para las Américas. En este cargo, Silva supervisará los esfuerzos de licenciamiento de contenidos, tanto de Televisa como de VIX Originals en todas las plataformas de la región.
- Mariano Filippini, fue ascendido a VP, Global Content Licensing Operations and Strategy. En este puesto, Filippini supervisará todas las operaciones de concesión de licencias de contenidos y las funciones de apoyo a las ventas para optimizar y mejorar los resultados de ingresos.
