Internationally Acclaimed Artist Paulina Rubio Will Receive the Illustrious “Premio a la Trayectoria” for Her 30 Years of Career in the Music Industry
Alejandra Espinoza, Gabriel Soto, and Yuri Will Host the Three-Hour Show
MIAMI – FEBRUARY 8, 2022 – Univision announced the first round of performers who will join “Premio Lo Nuestro’s” celebration of Latin music and culture. The acclaimed artists, representing different genres and generations, will deliver memorable numbers featuring world premieres, unique collaborations, and more in the year’s first major music award show. “Premio Lo Nuestro,” the longest-running Latin music awards show in the world, will air LIVE from FTX Arena in Miami on February 24, starting with the pre-show “Noche de Estrellas” at 7 p.m./6 CT.
The first round of announced performances include:
- The TV premiere of Ángela Aguilar’s “La Malagueña,” from her most recent album “Mexicana Enamorada.” Aguilar is the youngest and most nominated Mexican artist with 7 nods.
- Regional Mexican superstar Christian Nodal will delight the audience with the world premiere of his new single. Nodal leads the nominations list with 10 nods.
- The TV premiere of the megapopular band CNCO newest hit “Party, Humo y Alcohol.” CNCO has 3 nominations.
- The six-time “Premio Lo Nuestro” winner Gente de Zona will present for the first time on TV their new hit “Que Locura.” Gente de Zona has 1 nomination.
- Hitmaker Luis Fonsi will put everyone to dance with a vibrant performance. Fonsi has 4 nominations.
- A can’t miss number by urban superstar Natti Natasha, who will take the stage for a world premiere. Natasha has 7 nominations.
- The legendary tropical singer Olga Tañón will debut her new single “Ojalá” and perform with emerging artist Jon Zthe popular song “Jala Jala.” The female artist with most “Premio Lo Nuestro” wins will also take the stage with urban sensation Jay Wheeler for a reimagined version of her classic “Como Olvidar.” Tañón and Wheeler have 2 nominations each.
- The fan-favorite bachata artist Prince Royce will sing “Veterana” and the remix of popular hit “Ayer Me Llamó Mi Ex” with urban music artists Khea and Natti Natasha. Royce has 7 nominations and Khea has 4.
- Latin sensation Sebastián Yatra will perform his hit “Tacones Rojos.” Yatra has 4 nominations.
- Reggaeton stars Wisin y Yandel, also known as ‘el dúo dinamico’ (the dynamic duo), return to “Premio Lo Nuestro’s” stage for the world premiere of “No Se Olvida.” Wisin and Yandel have 1 nomination. Wisin has 7 nominations.
“Premio Lo Nuestro” will bestow the prestigious “Premio a la Trayectoria” (Trajectory Award) to the internationally acclaimed star Paulina Rubio for her three decades of career in the music industry. The popular “Chica Dorada” (Golden Girl) started her career in the 80’s as part of the pop group Timbiriche.
Univision’s beloved personality and actress Alejandra Espinoza and the famous actress and singer Yuri return as hosts for the main event, respectively, for their third and second time. Heartthrob actor Gabriel Soto will join them, marking his debut as a “Premio Lo Nuestro” host.
Tickets to the 34th edition of “Premio Lo Nuestro” are available on PremioLoNuestro.com. All ticket holders must show proof of negative Covid-19 PCR test (within 48 hours of the event), or in the alternative, show proof of full vaccination against Covid-19.

Univision Anuncia a las Superestrellas de la Música Latina que se Presentarán en la 34.a Edición de “Premio Lo Nuestro”
La artista de renombre internacional Paulina Rubio recibirá el ilustre “Premio a la Trayectoria” por su carrera musical de 30 años
Alejandra Espinoza, Gabriel Soto y Yuri serán los anfitriones del espectáculo de tres horas
MIAMI –8 DE FEBRERO DE 2022– Univision anunció hoy la primera ronda de artistas que se unirán a “Premio Lo Nuestro”, una celebración de la música y cultura latina. Los aclamados artistas, que representan diferentes géneros y generaciones, presentarán números memorables con estrenos mundiales, colaboraciones únicas y más en el primer gran programa de premios a la música del año. “Premio Lo Nuestro”, el programa de premios a la música latina de más larga trayectoria en el mundo, se trasmitirá EN VIVO el 24 de febrero desde FTX Arena en Miami y comenzará con el programa de antesala “Noche de Estrellas” a las 7 p.m./6 Centro.
Entre las actuaciones anunciadas de la primera ronda están:
- El estreno en televisión de “La Malagueña” de Ángela Aguilar, de su más reciente álbum “Mexicana Enamorada”. Aguilar es la artista mexicana más joven y con más nominaciones, 7.
- La superestrella de la música regional mexicana Christian Nodal deleitará a la audiencia con el estreno mundial de su nuevo sencillo. Nodal encabeza la lista de nominaciones con 10.

- La superestrella de música urbana Natti Natasha ofrecerá desde el escenario un número espectacular con el debut mundial de su nueva canción. Natasha tiene 7 nominaciones.
