Univision Ranked as No. 1 Spanish-Language Network in Primetime for the Entire Week Among A18-49 and P2+

Univision Finished Ahead of ABC, CBS, NBC and Telemundo During the Sunday 10 p.m. Hour Among Adults 18-34 with Special News Coverage of the Mexican Presidential Election

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of June 25, 2018 to July 1, 2018

Last week, Univision ranked as the No. 1 Spanish-language network during primetime, outperforming Telemundo among both Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers 2+. This marked the 34th consecutive week that Univision occupied the top-ranked Spanish-language network position across all Viewers 2+.

Univision also finished as the fifth most-watched broadcast network for the entire week in primetime, ahead of CW with 1.5 million Total Viewers 2+ and 607,000 Adults 18-49.

For the third consecutive week, Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on six out of seven nights last week among Adults 18-34.

Averaging over half-a-million Adult 18-49 viewers, all three of Univision’s weeknight primetime series delivered week-to-week audience gains of +4% for “El Rico y Lazaro” (696,000), +3% for “La Bella y Las Bestias” (674,000) and +3% for “Por Amar Sin Ley” (722,000).

Saturday night’s three-hour airing of “Rosa de Guadalupe” delivered an average audience of 905,000 Total Viewers 2+, 374,000 Adults 18-49 and 141,000 Adults 18-34 while also drove Univision to a first-place finish on Spanish-language TV with double-digit audience advantages of +20% over Telemundo in the in the key 18 to 49 demographic. The dramatic series consistently increased its audience throughout the entire night with double-digit gains in the last hour compared to the first hour among Total Viewers 2+ (+43%), Adults 18-49 (+46%) and Adults 18-34 (+44%).

With special news coverage of the presidential election in Mexico, Univision captured the No. 1 broadcast network ranking, ahead of ABC, CBS, NBC and Telemundo during the 10pm hour on Sunday night. It attracted 1.6 million Total Viewers 2+, 676,000 Adults 18-49 and 219,000 Adults 18-34 as well as outperformed Telemundo’s news special head-to-head in the 10pm hour with double-digit audience advantages of +82% among Total Viewers 2+, +77% among Adults 18-49 and +53% among Adults 18-34.
