UniMás Delivered Double-Digit Audience Growth in Primetime Week-To-Week and Versus Comparable Week in 2017

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of June 11, 2018 to June 17, 2018

On Sunday night, UniMás outperformed Telemundo by double-digit margins for the entire night among Total Viewers 2+ (+28% adv.; 923,000 vs. 722,000), Adults 18-49 (+28% adv.; 437,000 vs. 342,000) and Adults 18-34 (+37% adv.; 204,000 vs. 149,000) with a line-up that included “Cine de las Estrellas Sun: No Se Aceptan Devoluciones” and “Cine de las Estrellas Sun 2: Snitch.” UniMás also increased its Sunday 7pm to 11pm average by double to triple-digit margins week-to-week and versus comparable night in 2017:

With double-digit audience growth over prior week performance, UniMás averaged 610,000 Total Viewers 2+ (+13%), 293,000 Adults 18-49 (+19%) and 127,000 Adults 18-34 (+19%) in primetime last week. Additionally, UniMás grew its primetime average by strong margins versus comparable week in 2017 among Total Viewers 2+ (+29%), Adults 18-49 (+38%) and Adults 18-34 (+57%).

“Republica Mundialista” launched last week in the weeknight 10:00pm to 12:00am block and averaged 259,000 Total Viewers 2+, 144,000 Adults 18-49 and 47,000 Adults 18-34 in its first two nights (Thursday and Friday). Versus comparable nights in 2017, the sports newscast drew more Adults 18-49 (+30%), Adults 18-34 (+24%) and Total Viewers 2+ (+5%) to the network’s time-period.

For the sixth consecutive week, UniMás out-delivered the CW network during the weeknight 9pm hour among both Adults 18-49 (+24% adv.; 321,000 vs. 259,000) and Adults 18-34 (+41% adv.; 137,000 vs. 97,000). In fact, UniMás also averaged more Adults 18-49 (+8% adv.; 302,000 vs. 280,000) and Adults 18-34 (+37% adv.; 134,000 vs. 98,000) than CW’s Monday to Friday primetime average from 8:00pm-10:00pm last week.

UniMás attracted nearly two to three times more Total Viewers 2+ (+98% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+187% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+234% adv.) than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime.

In the current 2017/2018 Season, UniMás continues to average more Total Viewers 2+ (+3% to 718,000) in primetime versus comparable weeks in the 2016/2017 season.
