Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of May 14, 2018 to May 20, 2018

Last week, Univision finished as the No. 1 Spanish-language network during primetime for the twenty-eighth consecutive week, surpassing Telemundo by double-digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+29% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+18% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+19% adv.).

Univision also ranked as the fifth most-watched broadcast network for the entire week in primetime, ahead of CW with 1.5 million Total Viewers 2+, 660,000 Adults 18-49 and 280,000 Adults 18-34.

For the second consecutive week, Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on four out of seven nights among Adults 18-34.

Univision ranked as the No. 1 Spanish-language network for the twenty-eighth consecutive week during the weeknight 8pm hour and for the twenty-fifth consecutive week during the weeknight 9pm hour among Adults 18-49. In fact, averaging more than half-a-million Adult 18-49 viewers, Univision’s “El Rico y Lázaro” (588,000) and “Papá a Toda Madre” (626,000) delivered double-digit audience advantages over Telemundo of +40% and +33%, respectively.

With its special live coverage of the first leg of the “2018 Liga MX Clausura Final” between Toluca and Santos Laguna, Univision captured the No. 1 Spanish-language network ranking on Thursday night, outperforming Telemundo by +13% among Total Viewers 2+, +16% among Adults 18-49 and +9% among Adults 18-34.

Univision’s live broadcast of the second leg of the “2018 Liga MX Clausura Final,” in which Santos Laguna claimed the championship title over Toluca, drew in 2.1 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.1 million Adults 18-49 and 517,000 Adults 18-34 while also positioned it as the third highest-rated broadcast network for the second consecutive Sunday night among Adults 18-34, out-delivering CBS and FOX.

On Saturday night, Univision finished as the No. 2 broadcast network, out-delivering ABC, CBS and FOX for the entire night among Adults 18-34.
