Network Beats CBS on Three Nights Among Adults 18-34, Including the Fourteenth Consecutive Monday

The premiere of Univision’s 9pm series, “Mi Marido Tiene Familia” (My Husband Has Family) made Univision the No. 4 broadcast network during the Monday-Friday 9pm hour with Adults 18-34, beating both FOX (+26%) and ABC (+2%).  In its premiere week, “Mi Marido Tiene Familia” (My Husband Has Family) attracted 1.7 million Total Viewers 2+ (+1%), 737,000 Adults 18-49 (+9%) and 343,000 Adults 18-34 (+19%), growing the time period over last week’s final episodes of “La Doble Vida Estela Carrillo”.

In its third week on air, Univision’s epic drama “La Tierra Prometida” (The Promised Land) secured Univision as the No. 3 network in the weekday 10pm hour with Adults 18-34, beating ABC (+18%) and CBS (+31%) by double-digit margins.  “La Tierra Prometida” attracted 1.5 million Total Viewers 2+, 580,000 Adults 18-49 and 236,000 Adults 18-34.

Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-Language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on six out of seven nights this past week among Adults 18-34 and on three out of seven nights with Adults 18-49.

• On Monday night, Univision outperformed CBS by double-digit margins with Adults 18-34 (+73%). This marks the fourteenth consecutive Monday that Univision out-delivered CBS among Adults 18-34.
• Univision ranked as the No.4 broadcast network among Adults 18-34 on Tuesday night, and finished the night ahead of FOX with both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

• • • • • Univision delivered more than double the Adults 18-34 viewers than FOX (+114%) and beat CBS by double-digit margins (+35%).
        • Univision also beat FOX by double-digit percentages among Adults 18-49 (+40%).

• On Wednesday night Univision held a +34% advantage over ABC with Adults 18-34.
• On Thursday night Univision was the No. 4 network among Adults 18-34, beating both NBC (+9%) and ABC (+38%).  Univision also held a slight advantage over ABC among Adults 18-49 (+1%) on Thursday night.
• Univision rose to the No. 3 position among Adults 18-34 on Friday night, and beat FOX among Adults 18-49.

• • • • • Univision out-delivered FOX (+61%), NBC (+17%) and ABC (+23%) with Adults 18-34.
        • In the current season, Univision is the top pick over FOX among Adults 18-34. Univision attracted more Adults 18-34 viewers than FOX on 40 out of 49 Friday nights, 82% of the nights this season-to-date.
        • With Adults 18-49, Univision beat FOX by +5%.

• Airing back-to-back Liga MX soccer matches on Saturday night, Univision maintained its position as the No. 3 with Adults 18-34, outperforming CBS (+8%) and ABC (+24%) for the night.
