Univision Networks’ Simulcast Premiere of Highly Anticipated Series Reach 8.3 Million Total Viewers 2+

Univision Network Out-Delivers ABC and CBS Among Adults 18-34 for the Entire Night


NEW YORK – JANUARY 17, 2017 – Univision and UniMás Networks’ back-to-back simulcast premieres of the inspiring stories of two beloved idols, Jenni Rivera and Alejandro Muñoz, reached 8.3 million Total Viewers 2+, who tuned in to all or part of the three-hour block on Sunday, January 15, 2017. The two-hour simulcast premiere of the untold story of the late Jenni Rivera, the exceptional artist and mother in “Su nombre era Dolores: la Jenn que yo conocí” averaged 2.5 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.3 million Adults 18-49 and 597,000 Adults 18-34 from 8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Following from 10:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m., “Blue Demon,” the first bio-series on a legendary luchador averaged 1.7 million Total Viewers 2+, 900,000 Adults 18-49 and 376,000 Adults 18-34 during its simulcast debut.
