UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of March 14, 2016 to March 20, 2016
UniMás was the No. 2 Spanish-language network, delivering more viewers than Telemundo for the entire weekend among Total Viewers 2+ (+23%), Adults 18-49 (+36%) and young Adults 18-34 viewers (+49%). In fact, season-to-date, UniMás is the top pick over Telemundo for the entire weekend with Total Viewers 2+ (+2%), Adults 18-49 (+6%) and young Adults 18-34 (+2%).
- UniMás ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-language network for the eleventh consecutive Saturday night and reported double-digit percentage gains over Telemundo with Adults 18-49 (+29%) and young Adults 18-34 (+41%). UniMás also out-delivered Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+ (+12%) for the second consecutive Saturday night.
- Kicking off the night with the Cine Cantinflas film “El Gendarme Desconocido,” UniMás attracted 800,000 Total Viewers 2+, 342,000 Adults 18-49 and 169,000 young Adults 18-34.
- Following at 9pm, the UniMás feature film presentation “Jesse Stone: Benefit of the Doubt” delivered 699,000 Total Viewers 2+, 322,000 Adults 18-49 and 165,000 young Adults 18-34.
- In fact, UniMás’ back-to-back movie lineup out-delivered Telemundo’s entire primetime lineup including “Qué Noche” and “America’s Funniest Videos” with Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34.
- On Sunday night, UniMás maintained its position as the No. 2 Spanish-language network over Telemundo for the third consecutive week attracting more Adults 18-49 (+39%) and young Adults 18-34 (+54%). UniMás also beat Telemundo for the second consecutive Sunday with Total Viewers 2+ (+29%). Thus far in the season, UniMás outranks Telemundo on Sunday nights with Total Viewers 2+ (+2%) and Adults 18-49 (+5%).
- UniMás’ 6pm feature film presentation “Prince of Persia: Sands of Time” garnered 762,000 Total Viewers 2+, 421,000 Adults 18-49 and 201,000 young Adults 18-34.
- Following at 8pm, the special film presentation of “Jesus of Nazareth” averaged 1.2 Million Total Viewers 2+, 568,000 Adults 18-49 and 261,000 young Adults 18-34. When airing head-to-head, the UniMás movie out-delivered Telemundo’s “Gran Hermano” and “Ya Era Hora” in the aforementioned demographics.
Airing at 9pm, the Monday-Friday dramatic series “Lady Vendedora de Rosas” built its week-over-week audience among Total Viewers 2+ (+4% to 745,000), Adults 18-49 (+6% to 432,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+11% to 198,000).
Versus the same week a year ago (03/16/15 – 03/22/15), UniMás attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+38%), Adults 18-49 (+30%) and young Adults 18-34 (+29%).
In the current 2015/16 Season, UniMás is over-delivering the same weeks in the 2014/15 Season among Total Viewers 2+ (+19%), Adults 18-49 (+13%) and young Adults 18-34 (+6%) during broadcast prime.
UniMás, on average, delivered more viewers than the combined audience of Estrella, Azteca and MundoMax among Total Viewers 2+ (+70%), and more than double the Adults 18-49 (+132%) and young Adults 18-34 (+156%).
