The Derbez Brothers Are Back: Par de Ideotas Returns with a Wild New Season Set in Puerto Escondido
MIAMI, June 4, 2026 — ViX announced today the premiere of the highly anticipated new season of Par de Ideotas, the hit comedy docuseries starring Vadhir and José Eduardo Derbez, debuting June 19 exclusively on ViX Premium. Alongside the announcement, the streamer unveiledthe official trailer, offering fans a first look at the brothers’ latest and predictably chaotic adventure.
This season, Vadhir and José Eduardo head to the stunning beaches of Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, where they attempt to transform yet anotherone of their “big ideas” into a real business venture or at the very least, survive the process.
The eight-episode season, titled Par de Ideotas: La Experiencia del Alacrán, will premiere exclusively in the United States and Puerto Rico on ViXPremium.
Inspired by Vadhir’s experiences at Burning Man, the brothers set out to create an immersive five-day beachfront experience featuring livemusic, sunset parties, adrenaline-filled activities, and unforgettable guest moments. Their mission: launch La Experiencia del Alacrán and somehow avoid turning the entire project into a financial disaster.
The new installment also features an exciting lineup of special guests who elevate the adventure at every turn, including acclaimed actress Victoria Ruffo, comedian Daniel Sosa, digital creators Wattsopa, Ale Ley, Alexa Zuart, and Natalia Marion, as well as musical acts Banda Los Recoditos and Grupo Cañaveral, among others. Together, they join the brothers for a nonstop mix of comedy, chaos, and celebration along the beaches of Puerto Escondido.
Throughout the season, Vadhir and José Eduardo face mounting logistical challenges, impossible deadlines, and unexpected setbacks includinga hurricane all while trying to balance their roles as hosts, producers, and entertainers as the production begins to spiral out of control.
From the earliest planning stages through the final execution, each episode delivers the series’ signature blend of spontaneity, humor, and undeniable brotherly chemistry, capturing every setback, surprise, and laugh-out-loud moment along the way.

¡Los hermanos Derbez lo hacen de nuevo! “Par de Ideotas” regresa con nueva temporada y locación en Puerto Escondido
MIAMI, 4 de junio de 2026 – ViX anunció la fecha de estreno de la nueva temporada de Par de Ideotas, la exitosa docuserie de comedia protagonizada por Vadhir y José Eduardo Derbez, para el próximo 19 de junio.Junto con el anuncio, se presentó el tráiler oficial que adelanta las aventuras que vivirán los hermanos en esta nueva entrega. En esta ocasión, los hermanos llevan sus grandiosas ideas a Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, donde intentarán convertir una nueva “ideota” en un negocio… o al menos sobrevivir en el intento.
La nueva temporada de Par de Ideotas, conformada por 8 episodios, estrenará en Estados Unidos y Puerto Rico exclusivamente a través del plan premium de ViX.
En esta entrega, Vadhir y José Eduardo se proponen organizar una experiencia de 5 días y noches en un destino de playa reuniendo a varios asistentes e invitados especiales para vivir conciertos playeros, fiestas al atardecer, así como actividades y aventuras únicas. Inspirados en las experiencias de Vadhir en el festival Burning Man, los hermanos intentarán crear su propio evento playero, ‘La Experiencia del Alacrán’, con un objetivo claro: que al menos el proyecto no termine en pérdidas.
La temporada contará con la participación de invitados especiales que elevarán la experiencia a otro nivel. Entre ellos destacan la primera actriz Victoria Ruffo, el comediante Daniel Sosa, los creadores de contenido Wattsopa, Ale Ley, Alexa Zuart y Natalia Marion, así como las agrupaciones musicales Banda Los Recoditos y Grupo Cañaveral, entre otros, quienes se sumarán a las aventuras, el caos y la diversión en las playas de Puerto Escondido.
A lo largo de la temporada enfrentarán retos logísticos, decisiones improvisadas y situaciones completamente inesperadas, incluido el paso de un huracán, mientras intentan equilibrar su papel como anfitriones con el caos natural de producir un evento de esta magnitud.
