ViX Announces the Premiere of Its Original Series BODAS S.A., an Irreverent Look at Love and Marriage
The comedy stars Consuelo Duval and Giselle Kuri.
MIAMI, February 3, 2026 – ViX, the world’s leading Spanish-language streaming service, announces the premiere of its original comedy series BODAS S.A., an irreverent and sharp take on love, marriage, and modern relationships. The series will debut exclusively on ViX on February 13, with all episodes available at launch.
Starring Consuelo Duval and Giselle Kuri, BODAS S.A. plunges into the glamorous and chaotically absurd world of luxury weddings in Mexico. With biting humor, irony, and heart, the series explores the contradictions of romance, commitment, and the business of happily ever after. The cast also includes Danaé Reynaud, Ruy Senderos, Rubén Zamora, Antonio de la Vega, Paul Stanley, David Angulo, Michael Ronda, Roberto Ríos and Christian Chávez.
The story follows Estefanía “Fannie” Curiel (Giselle Kuri), a chaotic young woman deeply skeptical of love, who is forced to work at her family’s prestigious wedding planning company. The business is run by her mother, Silvia (Consuelo Duval), a relentless perfectionist who has built a successful empire around marriage despite not believing in it herself. After losing her mother’s financial support, Fannie must confront a world she despises and navigate a fraught mother-daughter relationship defined by control, expectations, and unresolved conflict.
Amid extravagant ceremonies, impossible clients, and mounting family tensions, Fannie embarks on a journey of self-discovery that challenges her beliefs about love, success, and her own identity. With humor and sensitivity, BODAS S.A.delivers a sharp and entertaining look at relationships, family dynamics, and the possibility of second chances.
BODAS S.A. is produced by Alazraki Entertainment. The series is written by Erik Zuckermann and directed by José A. Terán, who also serves as producers alongside Gaz Alazraki and Moisés Chiver.
