ViX Premieres Bajo un volcán, William Levy’s First Feature Film Shot in Spain
MIAMI — November 13, 2025 – ViX, the world’s leading Spanish-language streaming service, announced it will exclusively premiere BAJO UN VOLCÁN, an action-romance film starring William Levy and Maggie Civantos, on November 24 on its premium service.
Filmed in Tenerife, BAJO UN VOLCÁN combines romance and action against the backdrop of a natural disaster. The film follows Captain Mario Torres (William Levy), a military pilot and evacuation expert who arrives on the island after several seismic movements are detected and the area is placed on alert. Although the volcano seems to have calmed, Dani (Maggie Civantos), a volcanologist, warns that it’s a false calm. No one believes her…until the volcano erupts. Amid danger and uncertainty, the two find themselves caught between the forces of nature and their own feelings.
The film is directed by Martín Cuervo (La Bandera, Todos lo hacen) and features performances by Fabiola Guajardo (Los ricos también lloran), Adriana Torrebejano (Muertos S.L.), Elia Galera (Zorro), Antón Lofer(La Bandera), and Pino Montesdeoca (Way Down).

The film is produced by Eduardo Campoy and David Martínez (Secuoya Studios), together with William Levy Entertainment for ViX, and marks William Levy’s film debut in Spain. Following its theatrical release in Spanish cinemas, the film will be available exclusively in the United States and Latin America on ViX.

ViX estrena ‘Bajo un volcán’, la primera película de William Levy rodada en España
MIAMI — 13 de noviembre de 2025 – ViX, el servicio de streaming en español líder en el mundo anuncio que estrenará en exclusiva “BAJO UN VOLCÁN, una película de acción y romance protagonizada por William Levy y Maggie Civantos el 24 de noviembre por su servicio premium.
Rodada en Tenerife, BAJO UN VOLCÁN combina romance y acción en medio de una catástrofe natural. La cinta narra la historia del Capitán Mario Torres (William Levy), un piloto militar y experto en evacuaciones que llega a la isla, tras registrarse varios movimientos sísmicos y declararse la zona en alerta. Aunque el volcán parece haberse calmado, Dani (Maggie Civantos), una vulcanóloga, advierte que se trata de una falsa calma. Nadie le hace caso… hasta que el volcán hace erupción En medio del peligro y la incertidumbre, ambos se verán atrapados entre la fuerza de la naturaleza y la de sus propios sentimientos.
La película es dirigida por Dirigida por Martín Cuervo (La Bandera, Todos lo hacen) y cuenta con las actuaciones de: Fabiola Guajardo (Los ricos también lloran), Adriana Torrebejano (Muertos S.L.), Elia Galera (Zorro), Antón Lofer (La Bandera) y Pino Montesdeoca (Way Down).
