ViX Announces Premiere Date for Its Film INSTINTOS, Coming August 29
The new thriller stars Kate del Castillo, Bruno Bichir, and Daniela Schmidt, and is directed by Sebastián Borensztein.
MIAMI – August 26, 2025 – ViX, the world’s leading Spanish-language streaming service, today unveiled the official poster for its new original film INSTINTOS. This thriller will premiere exclusively on the platform’s premium tier on August 29.
The film is directed by Sebastián Borensztein, an acclaimed filmmaker whose work in film and television has earned him prestigious honors including the Ariel, the Goya, and the International Emmy.
Starring in this new ViX production are Kate del Castillo (Es por tu bien, Volver a caer), Bruno Bichir (Narcos, El callejón de los milagros), Daniela Schmidt (Dante y Soledad, Latido) and Iván Marcos (Ángela, Las Chicas del Cable)
In INSTINTOS, Maggie (Kate del Castillo) is in the final days of her pregnancy and plans to spend a quiet weekend at her countryside home with her husband (Bruno Bichir), a respected psychologist, as they prepare for the arrival of their long-awaited baby. However, their plans are disrupted when two intruders break into the house and decide to hold them hostage until Monday, intending to drain their bank accounts. But one of the assailants (Daniela Schmidt) has a different agenda, and as the baby’s arrival draws near, secrets will emerge that no one could have imagined.
INSTINTOS is a production of 3Pas Studios, BTF, and AF Films, with a screenplay by Till Osterland. The producers are Ben Odell, Leonardo Zimbrón, and Frank Ariza; executive producers include Francisco Cordero and Eugenio Derbez; and the film is directed by Sebastián Borensztein.

MIAMI – 26 de agosto de 2025 – ViX, el principal servicio de streaming en español del mundo, reveló hoy el póster de su nueva película original, INSTINTOS. Este thriller se estrenará en exclusiva el próximo 29 de agosto a través del plan premium de la plataforma.
La cinta está dirigida por Sebastián Borensztein, reconocido cineasta galardonado con premios como el Ariel, el Goya y el Emmy Internacional, por su trabajo en cine y televisión.

En INSTINTOS, Maggie (Kate del Castillo) está en los últimos días de su embarazo y planea pasar un tranquilo fin de semana en su casa, ubicada a las afueras de la ciudad, junto a su esposo (Bruno Bichir), un prestigioso psicólogo, para preparar la llegada de su esperado bebé. Sin embargo, la pareja es sorprendida por dos delincuentes que irrumpen en la casa y deciden encerrarse con ellos hasta el lunes, con la intención de vaciar sus cuentas bancarias. Pero uno de los asaltantes (Daniela Schmidt) tiene otros planes… y con la llegada del bebé, saldrán a la luz secretos que jamás habrían imaginado.
